Hi, my name is Chris Tyburski, vice president for higher ed consulting here at Encoura with today's Enrollminute.

The time to get in front of your students and ahead of your competitors is now.

After months of working on the current class, it could be hard to shift focus and start looking forward towards the next one. But now is the time to do it. And here's a few ideas to get you started.

First, conduct a simplified market analysis.

How did you do this year in your primary markets? Did you maximize them? How did you do in your secondary market? Have you started to build them? Do you understand your current competition and how you fared against them in both your primary and secondary?

Second, review your marketing strategy.

Are there easy tweaks you can make to make your communication more engaging for students and their families? Also, are you highlighting your college's brand and value propositions in a way that differentiates you from those competitors that you've identified?

Finally, train your staff.

Be prepared to present all of your findings to your entire recruitment team so that they can have more effective conversations with students, families, and school counselors.

If you have any questions about performing a market analysis, reviewing your marketing strategy, or training your staff, Encoura is always here to help. Feel free to reach out to your Regional Director any time.
