Imagine you could recruit your next class based on those who enrolled from your last class. With a predictive audience campaign, you can target prospective students with similar interests, behaviors, and demographics of those who have enrolled at your college before.

Standing out amongst your competitors can be really challenging. However, if you have the right ads on the right platforms, you can really strengthen your engagement to your prospective students.
So here are three ways to maximize engagement with digital campaigns.
So as we all know, in the digital space, you only have a few seconds to grab the student's attention. So you want to make sure your message is clear, concise, and to the point.
For example, if you want to promote your study abroad program, make sure the imagery and the tagline reflect that program. Or a specific open house coming up, make sure we have that event date listed so clearly on the digital ad so the students understand what that next step is in this digital experience.
Once you have your messaging in mind, it's really important to understand the audience that you're trying to reach and which platforms to target them on.
For example, if you're targeting nursing students or you're targeting engineering students, where should you deliver those messages? At Encoura, we run search analysis on social media and other platforms to ensure that we understand the audiences that you're trying to target. Remember, 80% of the college student search process starts online. So you want to ensure you're there and you're not missing out on the conversation.
Finally, make it easy. You don't want to direct students to your home page.
If you're doing a visit campus push with visit messaging, you want to ensure once they land on that landing page, they have clear directions of your event dates and the registration for that visit. Or if this is a lead generating campaign, make sure that RFI, that request for information form, is listed, clear, concise, and please limit the amount of fields for the students to fill out.
When your digital campaigns have focused key messaging, understanding the audience that you're trying to target, and also optimize landing pages for a seamless user experience, your digital campaigns are gonna be extremely effective and allow you to stand out amongst your competitors.
